Ollie Southon took four wickets as Hambledon under-13s got their indoor campaign off the mark.
Portsmouth Community won the toss and elected to bat but the Dons' young and inexperienced rivals were soon in trouble.
Southon clung on to a catch off Harry Hoolahan to remove their opener before taking centre stage with the ball.
He took four wickets for just nine runs, while Guy Mullins also grabbed a scalp to ensure Hambledon picked up maximum bowling points.
Tom Sherry made a superb debut at keeper - taking a catch off Southon - before Tom Toogood and Hoolahan had little trouble chasing down the target of 65.
The pair did so in just 28 balls as the Dons launched the new season in style.
