Girls’ Cricket at Hambledon

Girls of all abilities are welcome

We have all-girls teams at Hambledon Cricket Club, known as the Phoenixes. In 2026 we will have girls’ teams for all school years from Year 3 to Year 11. We are keen to welcome new players into our squads for the coming summer season.

All are welcome, whether you are just starting cricket or are looking to continue your love of the game.

Join us for winter training on 11th & 25th January, 15th February, 1st & 15th March at Crookhorn College at 12.30pm until 2pm.

Our summer weekly outdoor softball cricket training for Years 3 to 6 is on Sundays, 10am to 11.30am. starting Sunday 12th April 2026.

Hardball training for Years 6 to 11 is Tuesday evenings, 6pm to 7.30pm, starting Tuesday 14th April 2026.

All kit is provided, just bring yourself (and friends), learn a few new skills and get to be part of a great fun squad of girls. There are opportunities to play Hampshire Junior Cricket girls hardball and softball leagues during the summer, with indoor games, leagues and coaching during the winter months. An all year round source of fun and enjoyment!
