Hambledon CC are pleased to announce the signing of our overseas player for this summer "Nono" Pongolo.
This is a huge coup for the club as "Nono" has played to a very high standard in his native South Africa and on his last visit to the UK four years ago helped Ventnor win the Southern League Div one title topping the batting and bowling averages.
Lecky and Turns are collecting him from Heathrow on Thurs morning and hope as many members as possible will give him a warm Hambledon welcome on Fri evening at the "Ridge" from 6pm and on Saturday when he will make his "Dons" debut at home to the London Sri Lankans (1pm start).
