Seb Byers struck a brilliant 43 not out as Hambledon under-13s signed off the indoor season with a 25-run win over Fareham & Crofton.
Asked to bat by the home side, the Dons made a good start through Byers and Tom Toogood (18).
And while Ollie Southon went cheaply, Jack Thistlethwayte - who was dropped three times - maintained the pressure on his way to 29 not out.
Thistlethwayte survived a bizarre incident when he and Harry Hoolahan were left standing at the same end - with the latter sacrificing himself.
Tom Sherry then helped Byers finish the innings well to post 149 for three.
The Fareham innings started well but it was helped by some unusually wayward bowling.
However, Toogood and Byers soon reduced the run-rate with accurate spells and despite the fielding not being at its best, the hosts failed to get away.
They eventually closed on 125 for two, with Byers completing a brilliant all-round display with one for 12.
The young Dons finished the season with eight wins out of nine games - the only loss coming against league champions Portsmouth & Southsea by one run.
The team expressed their thanks to all their supporters, in particular Pippa Sherry who scored all the matches with a smile.
