Dons crush unbeaten leaders

Hambledon B demolished unbeaten leaders Hampshire Bowmen in South East Hampshire Indoor League division four.

The Dons recorded a massive 103-run victory to leapfrog their rivals into second place - and one of the promotion positions.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, the Dons suffered the early loss of Will Mann, pictured, who seemed to still be recovering from his birthday celebrations.

Fellow opener Will Bond carried on his rich vein of form, stroking 29, while he was ably supported by the younger Le-Clercq's with Spencer nurdling 28 and Lewis clubbing 29.

A quickfire 20 from the captain Mark Le-Clercq led Hambledon to a very healthy 162 all out off the penultimate ball of their innings.

In reply, the Hampshire Bowman struggled against all the bowlers with Kyle Shinn (one for 16), Lewis Le-Clercq (one for 13) and the skipper's two for 10 finishing them off for a paltry 59 all out.
