Hambledon continue to flirt with the Southern Electric Premier League division two relegation zone after a two-wicket defeat to Sarisbury.
The Dons were bowled out for 195 after being asked to bat first by Athletic skipper Archie Norris - Dan Hewitt once again leading the hosts' charge with 52.
After the interval, Sarisbury slumped to 60 for five with a superb spell of three for 20 from Rupert Hetherington putting the Dons on course for victory.
However, Matt Journeaux survived a huge appeal for a caught behind and went on to compile a match-winning 84 for the visitors.
He was ably supported by James Ingram (40) and, after a brief wobble at the end, Sarisbury got home with 10 balls to spare.
The Dons are now third from bottom after relegation rivals Hartley Wintney, OTs & Romsey and Paultons all won last weekend.
Hewitt takes his team to Hartley Wintney on Saturday for a must-win clash.
