Hambledon's third string lost only their second game of the season on Saturday as league leaders RAM took the honours.
Skipper Martyn Shinn won the toss and elected to bat at North Walls in Winchester - and at the half-way stage, having posted 217 for nine, things with looking good.
Runs from Ollie Lewis (71), Eddie Lewis (36), Ed Thistlethwayte (26) and Adrian Magrath (20) had put the visitors in positive mood.
However, once the RAM reply began, it soon became obvious the target was never going to be enough.
In the end the hosts breezed to their target in just 29.1 overs, leaving the Dons bowlers hoping for better luck this coming Saturday.
