Hambledon under-13s roared back to form with victory over Steep.
After losing the toss and being put into bat, the young Dons got off to a disastrous start with opener Will Hardman run out following a mix-up with fellow opener Alec Younger.
Hardman was quickly followed by the dismissal of Henry Glanfield, which left the team reeling at six for two.
However, once Seb Byers came to the crease the innings developed some momentum.
Younger and Byers both reached 30 before good knocks from Finlay Rockett (19) and Harry Thistlethwayte (23 not out) helped propel the Hambledon innings to 136 for six.
With the momentum firmly in the Dons' favour, the Steep innings never looked like it would pose a threat.
Despite 30 not out by Will Shore, the vistors closed on 88 for five.
The pick of the Hambledon bowlers was the consistent Rockett, who took three for six.
The victory leaves the young Dons top of the league and in a good position for a Hampshire Cup play-off place.
