Hambledon defeated Denmead II to claim their second win of the Hampshire League regional division three south east season on Saturday.
At a sunny Broadhalfpenny Down, the visitors won the toss and had no hesitation in batting first.
However, Matt Williams removed both their openers - without them troubling the scoreboard - in a fine new-ball burst.
Williams finished up with three for 35, as further tight bowling from Jack Dyer (three for 30) and George Harding (two for 20) saw Denmead bowled out for 141.
Despite losing Matt Radford early on, Hambledon's reply soon got into full swing with the in-form Dyer cracking 44 off 34 balls and Sam Jackson adding 25 in quick time, too.
This left skipper Martyn Shinn to see his side home with an unbeaten 23. A mixture of blocking and the occasional 'Caribbean slap' saw them claim victory in the 36th over by four wickets.
Afterwards, a delighted Shinn said: 'It was another fantastic team effort.'
