An inspection at Ridge Meadow delivered the damning verdict, with the second string's fixture at Emsworth and the third XI's fixture at Drayton Park already cancelled due to waterlogged outfields.
It means Dan Hewitt will have to wait to begin his reign as Hambledon skipper, Rob Atkins will miss the opportunity to take on his former club and the competitive debut of new signing Paul Vickers is on ice.
