Hambledon signalled their NatWest Under-16 Indoor League intentions with a win double over Dorset pair Bournemouth and Parley Sports at the Rose Bowl.
Eddie Lewis, Rory Prentice and JJ Brown led a run-spree against Bournemouth as the young Dons posted 165 for four.
The Ridge Meadow outfit found it difficult to take wickets with the ball, though, as openers Dan Message and Harry Weal got established.
But despite their lack of cutting edge in the field they still cruised to a comfortable 44-run win.
Joseph Brown then hit an unbeaten 42 against Parley Sports, for whom George Wilson struck an unbeaten half-century in reply.
A middle-order batting slip cost Parley the chance of beating arch rivals Bournemouth, who successfully defended 112 for five. Parley appeared to be cruising it after seven overs, but eventually fell six runs short.
Teenage managers Saul Harris and Alex Nippard hope for a 'vote of confidence' from their peers.
