It is with sadness that we note that death of Tony Smith, who served as treasurer of the club for 8 years. Tony’s funeral was held on 1 July at Hambledon Church.
Although not having any cricketing background, Tony lived locally and wanted to contribute to the community, and so as an accountant offered his services to the club.
The club offers condolences to Tony’s family and friends, and would like to recognise the time and effort Tony put in over his time as club treasurer.
