Hambledon's veterans won their annual match against Findon Vets on Sunday - after a thrilling run chase.
After losing the toss, the experienced Dons fielded and bowled well to restrict their opponents to 97 for five at the half-way point of the 40-over clash.
But a fine century from Toby Kingsbury (114) seemed to have taken the game away from the home side as Findon closed on 219 for six.
Rolling back the years - and evoking memories of the 1989 Lords run - the openers got Hambledon's reply off to a flying start.
Adrian 'Macca' Magrath (55) and Colin 'Chunky' Pay (94) put on 99 for the first wicket before Findon hit back to slow the Dons' victory charge.
However, Jon 'Burdy' Burdekin bludgeoned 47 not out from 27 balls to see the Dons home with three overs to spare.
