Hambledon are facing a battle to avoid relegation from South East Hants Indoor League division one.
The Dons slumped to a six-wicket defeat at the hands of Portsmouth & Southsea on Sunday as fears for their safety heightened.
Only skipper Dan Hewitt got in with the bat, hitting an unbeaten 33 as Hambledon posted a well under-par 98 for four in their 12 overs.
They then failed to land a blow in the field as Portsmouth & Southsea coasted home with eight balls to spare.
Hambledon are 12 points above the drop zone but Purbrook A have a game in hand.
The Dons' run-in includes clashes with title-chasing Havant A, Fareham & Crofton and fellow strugglers Bedhampton A.
