Dons triumph at New Milton

Hambledon made it three wins out of four with a seven wicket win at New Miton.

Having chosen to bat, New Milton were soon in trouble with Dan Hewitt (3-32) making the early breakthrough. However it was the introduction of last weeks hero Will Mann (4-17) and captain James Scutt (1-18) which saw the opposition record a below par 159 all out.

In reply openers James Scutt (100*) and Rob Atkins put the result beyond doubt with a ninety-run opening partnership with the captain remaining unbeaten and completing a fine century with the winning runs.

A perfect present for proud father Bob on his birthday!
