Despite a mini collapse, Hambledon closed at an above par 268-4 with Greg Hill (48*) finishing with a flourish and Nick Scutt unbeaten on 28
Burridge were never in the hunt, with Dan Hewitt and David Williams making early inroads. The remaining batting line up could not cope with Rhidian Chapman (3-40) and Rupert Hetherington (2-46) and slumped to 153 all out.
