With four games to go, Hambledon have taken top spot after an eight wicket win at Easton & Martyr Worthy.
Having inserted the opposition, the Don's made early inroads with Rhidian Chapman (2-18) dismissing Easton's top run scorer Bashir. With Jack Lavous injured and in hospital, Chairman David Mills took to the field as twelfth man sporting a Rory Hamilton-Brown shirt, kindly lent by Michael Johnson!
Rob Atkins (4-26) mopped up the tail, with Easton dismissed for 133.
In reply, openers James Scutt (54) and Michael Johnson (46) put on 99 for the first wicket in seventeen overs. Both then departed in quick succession, leaving Rob Atkins and Ollie Mills to complete an eight wicket win.
