Parent involvement

We rely on the goodwill of parents who give up their time to help with training and match day management of all of our colts teams. If you would like to help out in any way, however small, please contact one of our team managers or our Colts Coordinator, Theresa Pratt. We would especially like to hear from any Under 7, Under 9 and Under 11 parents or relatives who could help out.

We are also always looking for volunteers to help with scoring, organising social events, BBQs, etc. If you would like to help please do let us know.

Bar - We also rely on volunteers to run the bar during matches giving supporters and players the opportunity to buy drinks and snacks. This year, Team Managers will also nominate parents to take on responsibility for the bar during home games.

Ground Staff

One area the club would really appreciate some more assistance this year is with the work of our hard working ground staff. We have a most lovely cricket ground at Ridge Meadow, and we use it for a lot for matches, from the under 7s to the First Team. The right preparation is needed for all these matches, and we are on the lookout for some extra assistance to help our grounds staff. If you, or any of your wider extended families would be able to offer a few hours a week to help with the work, please get in touch.

We are sure there may be some mums and dads, uncles and aunts, grandparents and family friends who enjoy cricket and would be happy to spend a few hours in such lovely surroundings on the downs above Hambledon to keep the cricket ground in top condition for matches and practice sessions. This isn’t a huge commitment, but a little help from those interested would make a huge difference to the whole club, colts and adults alike.

Please do let us know if you know someone amongst your family and friends who would be interested.
